These Terms govern your use of the clappe.shop marketplace. By browsing, buying, or booking on clappe.shop you agree to them. clappe.shop is operated by Clappe and connects you with independent, verified businesses (“sellers”) who list their own products and services.
1. Our role
clappe.shop is a marketplace, not the maker of the goods or the provider of the services listed. Each order is a contract between you and the seller. Clappe verifies sellers, facilitates discovery and payment, and provides buyer-protection tooling, but the seller is responsible for fulfilling your order.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You may browse and buy as a guest. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details so your order, booking, or message can be fulfilled. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Orders, pricing & payment
Prices, availability, and currency are set by the seller and shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe under a seller-of-record model: funds are routed to the seller through Clappe’s payment flow. We re-price and re-validate every order server-side before it is placed, so the amount you confirm is the amount charged. Cash on delivery is available where a seller offers it.
4. Bookings & services
For bookable services, the time you select is requested from the seller and confirmed by them. Service scope, timing, and any deposit are defined by the seller’s listing. Rescheduling and cancellation are handled with the seller — see our Returns & refunds policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the marketplace: no fraud, no attempts to circumvent payment or trust controls, no abusive or unlawful content in messages or reviews, and no automated scraping. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences with a verified purchase.
6. Returns, refunds & buyer protection
Eligible orders are covered by Clappe Buyer Protection. Returns and refunds follow our Returns & refunds policy and the seller’s stated terms. Start a request from your order page or by messaging the seller.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Clappe is not liable for the acts or omissions of sellers or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
